Storage Rules and Prohibited Items
Crateify is designed for clean, dry household and business storage items that can be safely picked up, tracked, stored, and returned.
Eligible items
Store everyday overflow that is packed and safe to handle.
Crateify is built for boxes, totes, seasonal items, household overflow, small furniture, office supplies, business items, moving-gap storage, and apartment overflow.
- Items should be clean and dry
- Totes and boxes are preferred
- Loose items should be contained when possible
- Small furniture and bulky items are reviewed before pickup
- Final pickup details and pricing are reviewed before confirmation
Needs review
Some items need approval before pickup.
Tell us about anything fragile, valuable, oversized, unusual, or business-critical in your quote notes. Crateify may request clarification or decline items that are not a fit.
Prohibited
Items Crateify should not accept.
Crateify cannot accept items that are unsafe, illegal, perishable, regulated, living, highly sensitive, or unsuitable for the pickup and storage workflow.
Customer acknowledgment
Pickup is confirmed after review.
Submitting an estimate or pickup review request does not mean every item is automatically accepted. Crateify reviews item details, final pricing, pickup access, and storage fit before confirming service.

- No online payment is required to request an estimate
- Ask Crateify before pickup if you are unsure about an item
Why it matters
Storage rules protect the pickup process and stored items.
Items that are unsafe, wet, moldy, pest-affected, prohibited, or different from what was described may be declined before or during pickup.
